Full Moon Glamping at Basecamp Terlingua

Basecamp Terlingua reminded me of Santorini. It was literally so deep down into Texas that it felt like we were on a private island. But that wasn't what reminded me of Greece... it was the stillness & elegance. Oh and every structure was white! That made it feel like a boutique hotel. Maybe even South Beach, Miami. We chose to stay in a lotus tent but there were also tipis and bubbles available. The weather was cool but not cold. Our tent was thoughtfully decorated for the sophisticated camper. We had a sink with a Berkey water filtration system, a Kuerig coffee bar, luxurious bedding, and heated blankets. The shower house was sleek with private toilets and waterfall showers. The sunrise was slow and painted across Big Bend National Park.
