What is a Yurt? A traditional yurt is a portable, round tent covered with canvas and was used as a dwelling by several distinct nomadic groups in Mongolia and Central Asia. The structure consists of an angled assembly or latticework of wood or bamboo for walls, or a door frame.

Yurts are an incredible four-season structure that have been modernized and engineered to remain a staple structure in the growing glamping industry.

What is Safari Tent? Stemming from accommodation used on African safaris,
safari tents are the kings of luxury camping, constructed with a framework of poles and canvas walls and roof. You can book GlampStays in these platform tent structures across the globe.

Setting the ground for luxury camping, these tents allow for outdoor accommodations with the luxuries of a resort with just a little fine décor.

The design is a simple structure, supported by a single central pole, covered with cotton canvas.

These tents are great for pop-up events and seasonal glampgrounds. They are very comfortable and totally glampable!

What is a Tipi? Tipis are the original pop-up tent. The tipi is durable, warm, cool, and dry. And pretty majestic if you ask us! Historically, this portability was important to Plains Indians of North America with their at-times nomadic lifestyle.

Covered Wagon on the Oregon Trail? Many 90's kids died of dysentery playing this computer game. The real Oregon Trail was the journey from Missouri to Oregon riding in a Conestoga Wagon from the 1840's to 1880's. Nowadays, these wagons are a popular preference for glamping accommodations.
